Welcome

Hello and, welcome to my website!

My name is Alessio Cardillo and I am a senior post-doc research fellow at the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (IPE) upon the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). My research activity pivots around the study of complex systems encoded as networks, using a blend of agent-based simulations and analytical methods. I am equally interested in studying the structure of complex systems/networks, as well as the emergence of collective phenomena on them. I started my research activity in March 2005, under the supervision of Prof. Vito Latora. In 2014, I obtained my PhD in Physics under the supervision of Prof. Jesús Gómez-Gardeñes at both the Department of Physics of Condensed Matter, and the Institute for Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems (BIFI) of Zaragoza (Spain).

I am a former member of the following groups/institutions:

In these pages you can found some useful (I hope so) info and links about my work, complex networks, Physics and other stuffs.
